What does an address lookup cost?
Type-ahead suggestions are free. Retrieving a selected address costs 35 API credits, the same pay-on-success model used across every Property Insights API.
How is Property Insights different from Postcoder?
Both return UK address suggestions and a resolved address for your forms. Property Insights adds a direct line from the same UPRN into EPC, sold price, valuation, planning and environmental APIs, all on the same API key and credit plan.
Does Property Insights return a UPRN?
Yes. A successful retrieve includes the UPRN, canonical single-line address, postcode and coordinates.
What area does Property Insights cover?
England, Scotland and Wales, using Ordnance Survey AddressBase Core. It doesn't currently include Northern Ireland or international coverage, or Royal Mail PAF deliverability certification, check Postcoder's documentation if your forms need that.
